Our team of dedicated volunteers from Hope for Villages visited the children of the “Demeure d’Amour” Orphanage, also known as the Dr. Leon Obayomi Sacramento Center. The orphanage is home to dozens of children who have faced hardship but continue to shine with hope, courage, and contagious smiles.
Our goal was simple: to bring love, laughter, and practical support. We donated essential food and household supplies, including bags of rice and maize, cooking oil, tomato paste, soap, and other daily necessities — small contributions that help meet the center’s ongoing needs.

The day was filled with joy and energy. The children sang, danced, and played games with us, their enthusiasm lighting up the entire space. It was a touching reminder of how powerful kindness and connection can be, even through the simplest acts of giving.
We left the orphanage deeply inspired by the children’s spirit and the commitment of the caregivers who work tirelessly to provide them with a safe and loving environment. Their work is a true reflection of compassion in action.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to continuing our support for the “Demeure d’Amour” Orphanage and similar centers, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to feel valued, cared for, and hopeful about their future.
Together, we can keep spreading love — one visit, one smile, and one act of kindness at a time.
